Credits and Usage

Deslicer uses a credit system for AI consumption. Each plan includes monthly credits with automatic budget caps. You track usage in the dashboard and receive alerts when approaching limits.

Monthly Allowances

PlanMonthly Credits
Free€5
Standard€10
EnterpriseIncluded (usage-based billing)

Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over.

Budget Caps

Each plan enforces automatic budget caps that prevent runaway AI spending:

  • Trial users — A €10 spending cap applies during the 7-day trial period, regardless of plan tier. This protects you from unexpected charges while evaluating the platform.
  • Standard — Monthly budget aligned with your plan's credit allowance. You receive alerts as you approach the limit.
  • Enterprise — Higher or unlimited budget depending on your agreement. Usage-based billing applies.

When your budget is exhausted, agent chat and scheduled tasks pause until the next billing cycle or until you top up credits. You can still view history, manage settings, and configure agents.

Custom Budget Cap

You can set a custom monthly budget limit to control your team's AI spending independently of the plan default. Go to SettingsBillingUsage and find the Budget Limit card.

  • Enter a dollar amount (minimum $1) and click Save to enforce the cap.
  • Leave the field blank and save to remove the hard cap (your plan's default limits still apply).
  • The current setting is displayed above the input — either the dollar amount per month or "No hard cap."

When your team's AI usage reaches the custom cap, further agent chat and scheduled task runs are paused until the next billing cycle. The credit-depleted banner in the chat interface shows the plan name associated with the limit.

How Credits Are Consumed

Credits are consumed when you:

  • Chat with agents — Each message and response consumes credits based on model and token usage.
  • Run workflows — Workflow runs consume credits for the AI steps and any model calls.
  • Run scheduled tasks — Automated agent runs consume credits just like manual chat sessions. Each run's cost is tracked individually.
  • Compile reports — Compiling conversation reports and generating rollups consume credits for the underlying model calls.
  • Use Agent Builder — Creating and testing custom agents consumes credits.

Different models have different credit costs. GPT-4o, Claude, Gemini, and Grok consume at different rates. The dashboard shows usage per model and per agent.

Tracking Usage

Go to SettingsBillingUsage to see:

  • Credits used this month
  • Credits remaining
  • Budget cap status and alerts
  • Custom budget limit control
  • Breakdown by agent, workflow, and model
  • Historical usage trends

Use this to plan upgrades or adjust usage patterns.

When Credits Run Out

  • Free: Agent and workflow usage pauses until the next cycle. You can still view history and manage settings.
  • Standard: Add-on credits or upgrade to Enterprise for usage-based billing. Contact support for options.
  • Enterprise: Usage-based billing applies; no hard cap. You receive billing alerts at configured thresholds.

Plan ahead to avoid interruption. The budget banner on the Scheduled Tasks page and chat interface warns you when your budget is running low.
